‘When Jeremy Oats, proprietor of Classic Car Storage Ltd decided to race his 1929 2 litre Langonda, engine builder John Batt recommended few modifications from original but insisted on fitting Arrow’s connecting rods incorporating shell bearings.
The thought of a 74 year old con rod failing was too big a risk on such a rare machine and the rods have now successfully completed their second full racing season.
The 2 litre Langonda team came second in 2004 in the Aston Martin, Bentley and Lagonda Pre-War Sportscar race series’.
